Pastor Lane began serving at Bethel on March 16, 2015, when he was called as Director of Worship Arts. He later completed the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program through Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and accepted a call to serve as Bethel’s Associate Pastor. He was ordained and installed on August 14, 2022.

A native of Hickory, NC, Pastor Lane grew up in Catawba County. He graduated from Newton-Conover High School and went on to Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he earned a degree in Sacred Music with a concentration in Organ. His teachers included Florence Jowers, Robert Smith, and Frances Whitener.

In 2011, Morgan met his wife, Sara, and the two were married in December 2012. They are blessed with two children: their daughter, Eleanor, and their son, Nathaniel.
